Many schools love to come to our designated School Performances of our annual Christmas show. There are usually around 20 of these performances programmed. At present, we offer a special ticket price of £10 for pupils, with one free teacher ticket for every ten children. Early booking is recommended as it’s the highlight of many schools’ calendar.
For other Theatre by the Lake productions suitable for older year groups, we also offer £10 tickets for under 26s, but numbers of seats may be limited.

We wanted to celebrate the creative talent within our industry and within Cumbria, so we asked five different Cumbrian theatre-makers to undertake live, interactive webinars for those young people interested in theatre careers. The five theatre-makers are Alex Thorpe (Director), Louie Whitemore (Theatre Designer), Daneka Etchells (Actor), Lee Mattinson (Playwright) and Mark Melville (Sound Designer and Composer) and all were raised in Cumbria.
