Tom Palmer and the Cumbrian Young Writers Prize-giving

When he was young the children’s writer, Tom Palmer, struggled at school so his mum encouraged him to read books and magazines about football. Gradually he came to love books and writing. Tom shares his journey and presents prizes for the first Cumbrian Young Writers’ competition. Tom will talk about his journey as an author of 60 books including three historical novels set in Cumbria. He is also judging our Cumbrian Young Writers’ competition.
