Theatre by the Lake (TBTL) has been producing theatre in Cumbria since 1999. Named for its unique position near the shores of Derwentwater on the edge of Keswick, the Theatre sits amid the northern fells of the Lake District, a designated World Heritage Site since 2017. In this unique place TBTL has been a vital resource for its local communities and has been entertaining and inspiring local, national and international audiences for over 20 years.
