Multi-million bestselling author L J Ross, who was born in Ponteland, uses iconic Northumberland locations as settings for her work, creating atmospheric mystery and thriller novels, including the DCI Ryan series of Northumbrian murder mysteries which have now sold well over 10 million copies worldwide.
